The Bait & Switch Nightmare: Our “Sample Match” Guarantee
We hear this story too often: A buyer finds a supplier on Alibaba. They request a sample. The sample is amazing—perfect Japanese quality. So, the buyer orders a full container. When the container arrives, the ribbons are trash. The ink falls off, the rolls telescope, and the leader tape is missing.
This is the classic “Golden Sample” Trap. The supplier sent you a premium product as a sample but shipped a cheap generic product for the bulk order to boost their margin.
At Only Imaging, we consider this fraud.
We built our business on long-term relationships, not “one-shot” deals. Here is our Quality Promise:
1. The “Retained Sample” Policy
When we send you a sample roll (e.g., Sample Lot #A123), we keep a piece of that exact same master roll in our archive. When you place your bulk order 3 months later, we cross-reference your order with Sample #A123 to ensure the formulation is identical.
2. Batch Tracking
Every roll we produce has a Batch Number printed inside the core. If you ever have an issue, we can trace that roll back to the specific date, machine, and raw material batch it came from.
3. The Guarantee
If the bulk order does not perform exactly like the approved sample, we will replace it for free or refund your money. No arguments. No “user error” excuses.
Conclusion: Peace of Mind
Sourcing from overseas requires trust. But trust should be backed by a guarantee. With Only Imaging, what you test is what you get.
